“The work at Deepstack Media gave me experience of not just writing but also statistical research, which proved valuable within the journalism industry. By giving me the opportunity to have regular published work online I was able to increase my knowledge of the betting industry and the way in which the market works – which markets are value for money and what values a good bet. This was added to the improvements in the way I structured my written pieces, making them not only easy to read but also filled with relevant information. By showcasing my work through regular betting previews I was given the opportunity for paid work on larger projects, including further statistical analysis and research. This invaluable opportunity has allowed me to produce published work to a good standard that I believe helped me achieve my internship within the sports journalism industry.”
